I am very disappointed with the lack of Action. I am disabled and moved to Dawsonville in March of this year. I completed my FS renewal on line within the time frame given. I moved from Fulton County, Alpharetta and never had a problem before moving here. I followed all of the regulations, completed my renewal, called, left multiple messages, and drove to the office where they confirmed my renewal was completed and received. My FS are applied to my card on the 9th, usually. I went to the office on the 12th and was told that a case worker was assigned my case and I should have my benefits by the 20th! Today is the 27th and still no benefits! This is a Renewal not a new case! If you have ever been really hungry then you understand how doing without what you need is detrimental to your body. I hate the fact that I am disabled and must depend on this service! It was not my choice to be run over by an individual that thought it was okay to get high on Crystal Methamphetamine and drive! My life ended that day and I lost everything. It just adds insult to injury when someone that is in control of a service that you desperately need is very Lax at doing their job! I just don't understand why my renewal has not been processed, nothing has changed with my situation and, sadly, it will never change for the better. I am very disappointed with the lack of service and Action, or Lack thereof.
