My son has been on WellCare since he was born. When I took him to the doctor on Monday 6-3, EGHC told me his insurance was inactive. I call the local office here in Swainsboro and spoke with a lady and she basically told me she couldn't help me over the phone. So, I left work to go there and try to speak to a caseworker to let them know that some of my info has changed. I may/may not be eligible for WellCare but I would like to apply for peach care. When my number was called, I was standing at the window and the receptionist, was on the phone helping a customer. I was very nice, trying to explain that I needed to speak with someone. I had all of my info, check stubs, rent receipts, etc. My son is still not insured to this day. Went yesterday to check on my application that I done online and they stepped out of the door and said "WE CLOSED" I had to take him to ER last night due to a terrible ear bleed. I am very disappointed in this office here in Emanuel County. It is pathetic that I go in there trying to explain myself to a worker and if I don't have PJs on and slippers, I don't get helped. I was supposed to be receiving a call by the same day case worker. I've never received a call from them. Very unhelpful people. From this day forward, I will be dealing with Candler County DFCS.

Provides multiple support services and programs to help families in need is explained on this website. What does rental assistance consist of if I fall short of rental deposit for a new home to be fit and fair. How could you help me transition to a newer larger home? I am 100% disabled recipient.
