The Department:
Investigates allegations of child abuse and neglect

Work to find permanency for the children and youth, whether through reunification or adoption

Although I have not been to this office, I had communication with this office. The case worker supposedly told the family member who made report and who they had been in contact with. The supervisor and case worker held a conference call with me and basically discounted everything I said, therefore the opposing family who was questioned for child safety blocked all communication with the rest of the family, except for our 70+ year old mother. We have reason to believe there is still cause for concern and are unsure who to trust within this office to listen to us
