DCF, Hyde Park

This place is disgusting. It’s filthy, dirty, old, unkept & falling apart. Good luck if you have to have your supervised visits at the DCF Hyde Park office - bring lots and lots of hand sanitizer and clean toys for your kids to play with. No lie, the dirt and grime were just caked all over each and every toy. In my 2 year history with these “people” (use that word loosely) I have had 5 different workers, all of whom failed to deliver a service plan — ever. They never returned a phone call or email no matter how dire the situation is. BUT - God forbid you don’t return a call within 5 min —your screwed. They will say you’re not obeying your service plan. The same one you never saw or signed or even knew ex sister until 5 minutes ago. I understand the need for DCF but please, this agency needs a super thorough outside review/audit because something isn’t working..... as it should. DCF claims they want to reunite families but I have to be honest - that is a crock of sh**t. All they have done for me is cause a giant rift in my family and push me further and further away from my kids. So much for reunification
