The worst DHS office I have ever dealt with, unprofessional, do not follow their own rules, caseworkers are rude, disrespectful, and reflect their own personal views upon clients, affecting their cases in a negative way they do not follow the law and regulations required to be a state funded facility.
Staff at Newaygo County DHS are terrible, no customer service skills, talks to clients like they are not worth the workers time, constant attitude, ask for help or direction, only given the run around.
I have visited your office to get help with this winter's firewood supply and I was very impressed with how well informed and helpful the staff is. However, the firewood supplier that brought me wood is way overcharging for his firewood. I am very grateful for the help that I did receive from DHS but I am still going to run short of firewood before the end of the year and I seriously hope that your office will reconsider using this supplier for other people needing help with firewood.
