Van Wert County Children Services is responsible for providing services to keep children safe and in their own homes when possible, and to reunify as quickly as possible when children cannot remain at home. Adult Protective Services help vulnerable adults age 60 and older who are abused, neglected, or exploited. Child Care assists income eligible working parents receive quality care for their children in licensed homes and centers by subsidizing the cost on a sliding scale. Child Support services help children receive the financial and medical support they are legally entitled to and deserve.
