Information on Services
Indiana County Children and Youth Services has provided protective services, case management, and placement programs for children and youth in our county since 1936. The Agency is a part of a network of 67 publicly funded social services agencies representing each county in the commonwealth, which provides services to children, youth, and families under legal mandate, the County Code, and Department of Public Welfare Regulations. The goal of Children and Youth Services is to ensure that each child has a permanent, legally assured family which protects the child from abuse, neglect, and exploitation. To ensure the protection of children from the damaging effects of abuse and neglect, to facilitate services within the community, to empower families to provide for their children in a safe environment and enable them to reach their full potential.

In my experience with them, they aren't protecting the victim they are protecting the perpetrator. They would rather reward a rapist and make a family pay to protect their other children than to do what's right. Screw CYS!
