The Division of Children and Family Services is responsible for safety of children and youth in Arkansas. DCFS is responsible for child abuse and neglect prevention, protective, foster care, and adoptive programs.

EVERYONE THAT I HAVE CAME IN CONTACT WITH AT THIS OFFICE IS RUDE. I SUBMITTED PAPERWORK ON 3/4/24 THE CASE WAS JUST WORKED ON 4/1/24. THEY OVER TALK YOU AND DON'T LISTEN.
I wouldn't recommend the southwest office for no services at all only thing there good at is unlocking their doors; this is the worst government establishment little rock has created. I wouldn't send anyone here even if they was giving out free services, they offer no help to the community.
my experience with southwest little rock dhs office is very bad cant never get nobody to pick up the phone in an time of need.
