The Division of Children and Family Services is responsible for safety of children and youth in Arkansas. DCFS is responsible for child abuse and neglect prevention, protective, foster care, and adoptive programs.
Mission: To keep children safe and help families. DCFS will respectfully engage families and youth and use community-based services and supports to assist parents in successfully caring for their children. They will focus on the safety, permanency and well-being for all children and youth.

I visited the office, they opened a supportive case which was suppose to help me at any time. The case worker I ended up with was prejudice and also unprofessional she would discuss other clients issues with me, she's always tired like hadn't been to sleep, she never knew how to answer my questions or how to assist me. I wanted to change caseworker, later that day I got a petty, horrible message basically stating that she was gonna take back the referral that was sent to another organization to assist me, I'm going over and beyond to make sure she doesn't do it to anyone else.
Can't Say enough bad about them, they have no idea what they are doing and do not really care. I guess Yall have bad reviews for a good reason.
Not helpful at all with my concerns
We have called several times for our daughter. You continue to do nothing. Then, try and threaten us, by saying we can be prosecuted for making false claims. Even though, we have pictures to prove everything we say. You wonder why children die from abuse, here is the reason. Now, our daughter has been abused, because of the lack of parenting from her mother. Your office should be held accountable. You're a joke and a disgrace. "Mission: To keep children safe and help families." Well, you're doing a really mock up job on that. Congratulations.
